Leyton Orient 3-3 Port Vale: Josh Wright snatches point for hosts
Saturday 28 September 2019 19:14, UK
Josh Wright scored a last gasp equaliser and Conor Wilkinson was also on the scoresheet for Leyton Orient in a 3-3 thriller at Brisbane Road.
Orient's goals were matched by Vale efforts by Scott Burgess, Leon Legge and Jake Taylor as the sides shared the points.
The game was just four minutes old when Wilkinson picked out the unmarked Wright who was left with the simplest of chances to head into the bottom corner from close range for his first goal of the match.
Vale levelled in the 23rd minute when substitute Burgess seized on a loose ball and saw his shot take a deflection past O's keeper Dean Brill before nestling in the net.
Five minutes later, further shoddy defending from the home defence allowed Legge, under no pressure, to turn the ball into the net.

Orient stepped up their tempo after the break and levelled through Wilkinson in the 59th minute, who curled the ball into the net from 25-yards.
But Taylor restored Vale's lead five minutes before the end of normal time after Josh Coulson had given the ball away, before Wright had the final word when he headed home the equaliser in added time.
