Leicester midfielder Nampalys Mendy could return from an ankle injury when Southampton visit the King Power, on Sunday.
The midfielder, who joined from Nice in the summer, has been out for over a month but has returned to training and could replace Daniel Amartey.
Both sides were in European action in midweek, as Leicester secured their first Champions League home victory with a 1-0 triumph over Porto.
Southampton, who stayed overnight in Israel following their 0-0 Europa League draw with Hapoel Be'er Sheva on Thursday, face a quick turnaround to face the defending Premier League champions.
As mentioned, Mendy is in contention after overcoming an ankle injury.
Matty James is the Foxes' only absentee as he battles his own ankle problem, while Danny Simpson could return after being dropped for Tuesday's 1-0 Champions League win over Porto.
