Croatia moved to the top of Group F with a 2-1 win over Israel in their Euro 2012 qualifier. Two goals in four first half minutes from Tottenham midfielder Niko Kranjcar were enough to give Croatia all three points. The visitors broke the deadlock on 38 minutes when Kranjcar converted from the penalty spot after Blackpool defender Dekel Keinan fouled Josip Simunic. Croatia stunned the home side four minutes when Kranjcar grabbed his second goal of the contest after being teed up by Luka Modric. Itay Shechter pulled a goal back for Israel nine minutes from time, but Croatia held on for the win.
