Huddersfield vs Manchester United preview: Romelu Lukaku and Paul Pogba among injury worries

Manchester United have several injury concerns for their trip to Huddersfield on Sunday, live on Sky Sports.

United are aiming to keep their top-four hopes alive with victory over the already-relegated Terriers.

However, Paul Pogba, Romelu Lukaku and Jesse Lingard missed Wednesday's part-open training session and Marcus Rashford is also set to be assessed.

David de Gea is set to keep his place in goal, despite a poor run of form, as back-up Sergio Romero is injured.

United are three points behind fourth-placed Chelsea with two games of the season left to play, and United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admits scoring has been an issue recently.

"We haven't scored enough of the chances we've created," he said.

"When I first came in we were very efficient but now the margins have gone against us. We've been working on creating chances and scoring again."

Huddersfield will be looking to end a disappointing campaign with a positive result in their final home game.

The Terriers have lost their last eight games in a row and were beaten 5-0 by Liverpool last time out.

Aaron Mooy (hip) and Adama Diakhaby trained this week for Huddersfield but Mathias Jorgensen is a doubt due to a cold.

Solskjaer said on Friday that United have a "few niggles and a few injuries".

Eric Bailly, Mason Greenwood and Romero are out while Pogba, Lukaku, Lingard, Rashford, Fred and Chris Smalling will be assessed.

Phil Jones and Antonio Valencia have trained so should be available.

I remember last year - but Manchester United will win this comfortably. Anything less than 4-0 is disappointing. You're playing a team who can't win for toffee, look out of their depth, and surely United should have the ammunition to rip them to shreds.

They can't put it together for 90 minutes though. They huffed and puffed last weekend, that's not the Manchester United I remember.
