Braga go through as pointless Heerenveen crash out
Braga secured their safe passage through to the next phase of the Uefa Cup as they came from behind to beat Heerenveen away.
The home side went into the game with no points having lost their opening two games of the group stages but held faint hopes of qualification if they could win their two remaining games.
Things began brightly for the Dutch side when former Sheffield Wednesday striker Gerald Sibon opened the scoring on 19 minutes with a free-kick from 25-yards.
The lead didn't last long with the Portuguese side equalising ten minutes before half-time through striker Wason Renteria and Luis Aguiar sealed the victory with a free-kick of his own, also from 25-yards out, on 56 minutes.
