Javier Aguirre secured a point in his first game as Real Zaragoza coach as the Primera Liga's bottom side drew 1-1 at Getafe.
Nicolas Bertolo put Zaragoza ahead on 34 minutes before Adrian Colunga's penalty earned Getafe a point prior to the visitors having Leonardo Ponzio sent off.
Getafe were quickly on the attack, with Colunga testing Leo Franco in only the second minute before Pedro Rios forced the visiting goalkeeper into a parried save moments later.
Javi Casquero had a pair of chances just after the half-hour mark, but saw his first shot charged down before firing over.
And the wasteful shooting was punished when Zaragoza scored in the 34th minute, Bertolo silencing the crowd as he smashed the ball home from 30 yards.
The half ended with Zaragoza still on the attack but Gabi Fernandez's shot was blocked.
However, Getafe were level early in the second half after Florent Sinama-Pongolle brought down Jaime Gavilan inside the area and Colunga fired the resulting penalty into the top left-hand corner.
Del Moral could have completed a swift turnaround moments later but headed wide from a good position.
Sinama-Pongolle had a chance at the other end, but Zaragoza's hopes of snatching a win effectively ended when Ponzio brought down Del Moral to earn his second yellow card, having earlier been booked for dissent.
Colunga was off target as Getafe's strikers continued to waste chances. Gavilan blazed over and Colunga missed with a late header, but a point was all Getafe could manage to keep the pressure on coach Michel.
