Doncaster 3-2 Crewe: Late late show from Doncaster
Saturday 12 December 2015 20:08, UK
Never-say-die Doncaster grabbed two spectacular goals in stoppage time to snatch a remarkable 3-2 home victory over Crewe.
It was no more than Rovers deserved after having most of the play in an entertaining open clash, but it hardly looked on the cards after Crewe had gone 2-1 up in the last minute of normal time.
Crewe had gone ahead against the run of play in the 26th minute when Marcus Haver fired home from close range after Adam King had cut the ball back.
Rovers went close several times before Conor Grant equalised in the 32nd minute when he volleyed home a right-wing cross from James Coppinger in fine style.
There were several near misses before the interval and little to chose between the sides in the second half until the barnstorming finish.

Crewe looked to have won the match when substitute Callum Saunders - the son of former Rovers boss Dean Saunders - notched his first league goal in opportunist style from close range following good work by Oliver Turton.
But Rovers refused to lie down and levelled the scores in the second minute of stoppage time when Cameron Stewart hammered home a stunning 25-yard free-kick.
Rovers fans were celebrating again seconds later when Andy Williams snatched victory with a superb 20-yard strike following a long goal kick.
