Guardado scores twice in 2-2 draw
Deportivo La Coruna were held to their third successive draw after sharing four goals with Getafe at La Riazor.
Miguel Angel Lotina's side had not scored or conceded as they played out goalless stalemates in each of their opening two games in the Primera Liga.
But they found themselves behind after 33 minutes against Getafe when Daniel Colotto inadvertently put the ball into his own net.
Getafe held their lead until half-time but the match soon turned in Depor's favour thanks to a brace of penalties from Andres Guardado.
The Mexican winger equalised from the spot on 50 minutes following an Ivan Marcano handball, and then struck again seven minutes later after a foul by Derek Boateng on Colotto.
Getafe drew level at 2-2 courtesy of a fine Javier Arizmendi strike in the 69th minute, and they managed to hold on despite being reduced to ten men when Pedro Mosquera was sent off for a second bookable offence.
The result leaves Getafe eighth in the table on four points, while Deportivo climb to 14th.
