Crawley 2-1 Bristol Rovers: Crawley collect victory
Saturday 21 November 2015 20:15, UK
Rhys Murphy hit two early goals as Crawley clinched their fourth successive home league win with a 2-1 triumph over Bristol Rovers.
Matty Taylor seized his ninth goal of the season from the penalty spot for Rovers three minutes from time after Mitch Hancox fouled Billy Bodin, but Crawley hung on through five minutes of added time.
Rovers found themselves two goals down after only ten minutes with striker Murphy, on loan from Oldham, grabbing both of them.
Strike partner Roarie Deacon shot wastefully wide before Murphy put Crawley ahead with a right-foot toe-poke in the middle of the goal after a cross by Gwion Edwards was not cleared.
Murphy doubled the lead within a minute with a tremendous individual goal, catching keeper Lee Nicholls off his line with a shot from 25 yards which sailed into the top corner.

Crawley keeper Darryl Flahavan did well to thwart a goal-bound shot from Tom Parkes before Bodin later shot wide from a good position.
The hosts threatened again when a corner from Simon Walton was headed narrowly over by on-loan defender Josh Yorwerth.
Flahavan saved smartly for Crawley shortly after the break from a header by substitute Ellis Harrison following a Lee Brown cross.
Crawley then enjoyed a slice of luck when an angled shot from Bodin rebounded off the base of the post into the arms of Flahavan before Taylor's spot-kick made for a tense finish.
