Adam Barrett earned AFC Wimbledon a point at Cheltenham with a 41st-minute leveller in a 1-1 draw.
Matt Taylor had given the home side the lead in the eighth minute at Whaddon Road, but Barrett's strike means the Robins have failed to win any of their previous six games. Matt Tubbs had missed the Dons' first chance early on, reaching Adebayo Akinfenwa's flick and firing over the bar. And the visitors were punished as Lee Vaughan's low cross was spilled by goalkeeper James Shea and skipper Taylor followed up to net his first goal for the club in just the eighth minute. Raffaele De Vita was close to making it 2-0 with a long-range effort which flew inches over. At the other end, home goalkeeper Trevor Carson kept out Tubbs' header from Sean Rigg's cross before Shea denied Vaughan, who was played in by ex-Dons man Byron Harrison. A shot from Akinfenwa was deflected over the bar and the Dons' pressure was rewarded before the break when George Francomb's cross was cleared as far as Barrett to tap in. Akinfenwa clipped the top of the bar with an effort on the turn 15 minutes from time and he bulldozed his way through again towards the end before shooting just wide to ensure the spoils were shared.
