Joe Dodoo scored a stoppage-time header to earn Bolton a point in a 2-2 Sky Bet League One draw with AFC Wimbledon at the University of Bolton Stadium.
Marcus Forss twice put Glyn Hodges' visitors in front, with his second goal coming just nine minutes from time.
However, bottom-of-the-table Wanderers, beaten 7-1 in their previous outing at Accrington Stanley, hit back to share the spoils.
Finnish striker Forss had not scored since a hat-trick at Southend on October 12, but the on-loan Brentford marksman rediscovered his touch with goals after 41 and 81 minutes.
In between, Daryl Murphy's fifth goal of the campaign after 56 minutes earned parity for Keith Hill's side.
The three points looked secure for Wimbledon when Forss fired home his left-footed second.
Instead, Wimbledon's fragility from crosses was highlighted by the home side's dramatic leveller.
Substitute Thibaud Verlinden crossed into the six-yard box and Dodoo netted his first goal for the club to earn Bolton a battling point.
