League One leaders Portsmouth survived a second half fightback to beat Wimbledon 2-1 at Kingsmeadow.
First half goals from Gareth Evans and Tom Naylor put the Blues ahead, before half-time substitute James Hanson sparked hopes of a comeback for the hosts.
But Pompey held on to retain their three point lead at the top, while Wimbledon stay 20th.
The visitors dominated the opening stages, forcing several corners and going close through Evans.
The pressure told after 24 minutes when Naylor met Dion Donohue's corner to head home.
Lee Brown then raced down the left and Evans turned in his low cross at the far post.
Joe McDonnell was at full stretch to palm away Naylor's thunderbolt as Pompey threatened to run riot.
But Dons boss Neal Ardley made a triple change at the break to stem the tide.
It seemed to work as, out of nowhere, substitute Hanson lashed in a thunderous shot from the edge of the box to claw a goal back.
Jake Jervis almost levelled with a header as the hosts seized the initiative.
Despite a wave of late attacks, the Dons ultimately fell to an eighth league defeat of the season.
