Wigan lose injured Oliver Gildart for three months

Wigan centre Oliver Gildart is facing a lay-off of up to three months with a back injury sustained in his side's 26-18 Super League defeat at Leeds.

Gildart, who was making his first appearance after recovering from a knee injury, was hurt in a tackle by Leeds forward Brett Ferres that earned his opponent a spell in the sin-bin.

"He's seeing a neurologist today," Wane said at his weekly press conference ahead of Thursday's home game against leaders Castleford. "It's a serious back injury and he'll be out for two to three months.
