Hull half-back Albert Kelly and Castleford hooker Paul McShane have both been suspended one week into the new Betfred Super League season.

Kelly was charged by the Rugby Football League's match review panel for a high tackle on Matty Ashurst during his debut for the Black and Whites in Sunday's 12-8 win over Wakefield.

McShane was accused of making a dangerous throw on Leigh prop Gareth Hock in the first minute of the Tigers' 44-16 win over the Centurions last Friday.

Both men took the option of submitting early-guilty pleas to the grade B offences and were handed one-match bans.
