Castleford have rejected three offers for winger Denny Solomona and insist they expect him to report back for pre-season training in November.
The 22-year-old, who scored 42 tries for the Tigers in 2016, was a target for Wigan earlier in the year and he was the subject of offers from rugby union clubs Sale and Gloucester.
Sale were thought to have offered £300,000 to Castleford in their effort to team him up with recent league convert Josh Charnley.
But Castleford chief executive Steve Gill insists the former Melbourne and London Broncos player is not for sale.
"Denny's has got a two-year contract with the club," Gill told BBC Radio Leeds.
"We have rebuffed three approaches for him, two from rugby union and one from league and nothing has changed from that.
"We haven't sold him and we're not loaning him back like I've heard the rumours.
"Our stance is that he's not for sale and we expect Denny back in on seventh of November for the start of pre-season training with the first-team squad."
Solomona scored a seventh hat-trick of the season in the Tigers' final game against Widnes to break the Super League record of 38 tries in a season - held jointly by Lesley Vainikolo and Danny McGuire - and break the club record of 40 set by St John Ellis in 1994.
The Samoa international was on the three-man shortlist for the Man of Steel award that went to Hull hooker Danny Houghton.
