Verdict
Red Force One is 8lb higher than when winning this on fast going last year while Captain Kane won on the all-weather recently and Baez landed a Class 6 contest at Catterick. Kalamity Kitty showed good progress in lower grade races last season but so did GOLDEN SHOT (NAP) who has won three of four outings since being gelded and stepped up in trip. The latter escapes a penalty having made a winning reappearance in an apprentices' race at Ayr last week and there looks plenty more to come this year.
