Flying Pursuit won this last year from 4lb lower when the ground had a bit of give in it. He hasn't been in the same kind of form but has performed better than his figures suggest. Tim Easterby also runs Golden Apollo and East Street Revue with preference for the former from his inside berth. Growl was performing at a very high level last summer and has dropped to an attractive mark though a high draw isn't an advantage on this track. Harome has an even higher berth and he's proved himself better over the minimum but Intisaab went to the Curragh last weekend and beat the home team under a big weight though another 5lb rise makes this even more difficult. David O'Meara also runs recent winners Watchable and Summerghand along with Muscika though all are stepping up in grade. The latest remark also applies to Baron Bolt, who scored at Epsom, though he's gone well in this company in the past. ENJAZAAT is making his handicap debut but ran a fine race against older horses in the Group 3 Hackwood Stakes at Newbury last week. He's by no means leniently treated but has the scope to go on to better things so gets the vote.
