Verdict
MUKHADRAM is probably one of the season's most progressive horses but he's had the misfortune of coming up against Al Kazeem and there's a cogent argument to suggest he was unlucky not to be second to that rival in the Eclipse at Sandown. The market should give us the best idea as to what to anticipate from The Apache on his return from an absence. Mike De Kock's six-year-old won a Group 2 at Meydan before being placed in the Jebel Hatta and the Dubai Duty Free. Grandeur bagged a pair of Grade 2's in America last year and he may have needed his reappearance at Newmarket after eight months off the track. Wigmore Hall finished ahead of him on that occasion and he returns to the scene of his John Smith's Cup triumph back in 2010. Sri Putra has been disappointing this term while King George River appears up against it.
