Verdict

Yorkshire is an intriguing contender as he receives a hefty amount of weight all round as Edward Bethell chooses to pitch him in against his battle-hardened elders at this early stage of the season. He's also up to Class 2 level for the first time but it would be foolish to discount him under these race conditions. Open Mind ran really well in Meydan during the winter months and this reliable and consistent performer is expected to prove competitive once again despite a major rise in the ratings. Documenting is somewhat hit-and-miss but is a useful sort at this level and would be a key player on a going day. However, despite not making the frame for over a year, CRUYFF TURN is off a workable mark, has shaped quite well the last twice and his run at the Dante meeting indicated this trip will suit.
