A right burn-up to conclude the four-day meeting with ROUNDHAY PARK taken to land a competitive finale. The gelding, like his stable, is having a fine season and gets on exceptionally well with regular partner Lewis Edmunds. Recent placed efforts in a hugely tough Newmarket July meeting handicap and a Shergar Cup sprint read well and a 2lb rise for that latest effort at Ascot is quite acceptable. The drop to the minimum trip is not a concern. Lord Riddiford is obvious shortlist material chasing a four-timer, as is Main Desire who will naturally appreciate this move into handicaps after tackling Group 1 and 2 company the last twice. Airglow is interesting at the foot of the weights and the consistent and reliable course and distance winner, Marnie James, is another to consider.
