Verdict

Gee Rex is the one to beat if running up to a mark of 96 but there are concerns regarding stamina having failed to figure at Group level over 6f. COSMIC HORIZON found only Zuenoon too good over 7f at Galway last time and the latter has subsequently won again. Joseph O’Brien’s colt should figure on that form and stay the extra distance. Ballydoyle’s runners remain under something of a cloud but Mount Everest improved to finish second at Cork last time and is preferred of the Aidan O’Brien trio while Yonkers, Musalsa and Dingle Bay are likely improvers with Vocal Manager and Pearl Warrior newcomers to note.
