Plenty of these have been busy over the last few weeks and the likeable Shahdaroba is likely to be popular despite the steadier of topweight. Equity Risk has run well on the Knavesmire previously and having placed off a 2lb higher mark, Kevin Ryan's four-year-old has every chance, but we prefer the claims of BARREN BROOK. Mick Easterby's gelding spoilt his chances by racing too keenly last time but showed up well when fifth in the Carlisle Bell and is sure to be thereabouts on ground that suits. David O'Meara won the race last year and Berlusca and Anderiego are set to represent him on this occasion. The latter is a course and distance winner though he will need to reverse Newcastle form with Big Storm Coming. Simply Shining has failed to add to her win in a Thirsk maiden a couple of seasons ago but has become something of a banker for placepot players.
