      Verdict

      Godolphin often target this prize and having seen ALBASHARAH spectacularly unseat her rider at the start of last year's renewal, there would be poetic justice for those backers were she able to land this race on her seasonal reappearance. The boys in blue also give Tasaday a first British start having acquired the filly out of the Andre Fabre stable last term. A winner of a Listed race at Meydan on her second start for Saeed Bin Suroor, she has to carry a 3lb penalty for those labours. Regardez failed to show her form in the Oaks though she appreciated the drop in grade to land the Hoppings Stakes at Newcastle and could still be open to further improvement. Wall Of Sound attempts to graduate out of handicaps while Tahira was well held in the John Smith's Cup and has more to do here.
