In depth

Verdict

OBJECT found the competition too hot in a Listed sprint at Ripon last month but gets another chance on his earlier victory at Newmarket when beating three subsequent winners. Trust Bertie beat International Boy at Redcar on his debut and can go well again while Roach Power drops back down in trip having failed to show any improvement over 7f at Musselburgh. Nickleby can do better back on the Turf today and is preferred to Sixstar while Sezaam, a half-brother to five winners, is a newcomer to note.
