La Trinidad missed out on a hat-trick of course victories last time and drops down in trip. He beat Lion Tower here in June though the latter has won twice over today’s trip at Musselburgh subsequently and beat Danzan in the process. The latter finished third in last week’s Ayr Bronze Cup but ABLE KANE won over a slightly shorter trip at Doncaster a fortnight ago and should remain competitive raised only 3lb for that success. Firmament scored in this grade on the all-weather last time but the likes of Poet's Magic, Astrogem and La Rav face a more difficult task today.
