This appears something of a lottery at first glance but Beverley winner Expert Choice, one of three Richard Fahey runners, is definitely heading in the right direction, though the same can be said for many of these. KEEP WARM (NAP) has been a revelation since equipped with a visor. He’s won twice over Pontefract’s stiff 6f so the extra furlong here won’t be an issue. His latest victory has been franked by the runner-up and third and he’s got a good draw in this big field. Lincoln Legacy got back to winning ways at Newmarket last Saturday but he was behind Gamraan at Goodwood before that and the latter has place claims again along with stablemate Ajwadi. Rednblue Sovereign wasn’t winning out of turn at Epsom but he’s drawn wide on the track. Aragon Castle looks the pick of Andrew Balding’s pair as he didn’t really handle the turns at Chester last time but Lexington Belle will need to progress again if she’s to complete a hat-trick in nurseries.
