Reform Act, Zarwala, and Anna Pavlova catch the eye here and Reform Act is the selection. John Oxx sends Zarwala across from Ireland for a race that either the Irish or Luca Cumani have dominated. His charge won with ease in heavy ground at Limerick, and this daughter of Polish Precedent could be anything. She has to prove herself at this level however and she is taken on. Anna Pavlova has also proved herself in testing conditions, scoring at Haydock two outings ago. Beaten on a faster surface since, that run can be discounted here, but the significantly longer trip is a venture into the unknown and there must be stamina doubts. Reform Act has the classiest form to her credit, having scored in Listed company last time. She is yet to show she handles ground as testing as this, but Dermot Weld would not be asking her the question if he didnt believe she would. The proven quality of Reform Act can see her through.
