Verdict

This competitive contest provides an obvious dilemma as the rapidly-progressive GENETICS seeks to build on a runaway 12-length success on Shergar Cup day. He has never attempted a trip beyond 1m4f before so his stamina will be tested but we'll take a chance that he stays. Speedo Boy has no such stamina concerns and arrives in good form after landing Ascot's Brown Jack Stakes, whilst Stormin Tom is having a cracking season and should be a player under regular pilot, Rachel Richardson. Hochfeld could well give this a good shot off top weight while the likes of the consistent Mancini and lowly-weighted Davy's Dilemma also make some appeal. Course and distance winner Northwest Frontier can't be discounted either.
