Verdict

Thirteen Shivers is the only C&D winner in the line-up and remains in fine form though he looked a few pounds high in the weights at Haydock last time. Even Stevens is a Southwell specialist having won five times there and he was behind On The High Tops at Thirsk in April. The latter couldn't follow up from his revised mark at Haydock and looks up against it as does Catfish, who hasn't improved from her Leicester success when she had the unlucky in-running Restless Bay behind. The latter is very consistent but was engaged to run at Doncaster on Thursday evening. Crimson Cloud and Rothesay Chancer are others with chances in a wide-open sprint but Noel Wilson has plenty of success here and IRISH BOY, who showed tremendous speed over Pontefract's stiff track last time, will be better suited here and just gets the nod.
