Verdict

Godolphin usually unleash some of their best juveniles on the Knavesmire and have won this for the past two years. Gulf Of Alaska has no fancy entries but this son of Sinndar is related to a host of winners and it wouldn't be a surprise if he made a winning start. Holy Roman Warrior has been staying on at one pace over 6f on ground with some give so the extra furlong should help but Tudor Empire has also shown a lack of pace at the business end and will need to improve. SAFFA HILL showed the benefit of his opening effort with a tremendous run over this C&D a fortnight ago where he led for much of the way. He's the type to go on to better things and should have the edge here.
