Kihavah will have to overcome a 7lb rise for a recent win over track and trip and Musselburgh winner El Picador, who finished third, should get much closer. FIRST IMPRESSION arrives off the back of a good run in a competitive handicap hurdle at Haydock and was placing off higher marks on the Flat around this time last year. Rhys Clutterbuck’s mount could offer a bit of value with a seemingly decent draw in this big field. Harry Davies is already looking one of the apprentice finds of the season and should get a tune out of Charging Thunder, who has been only narrowly beaten in his two runs this year, while White Willow is still improving but Pride Of Priory was well beaten when starting favourite at Chester.
