After an initial third place at Lingfield in February, York Glory has never been out of the first two and dropped to the minimum trip for the first time when beating Thirteen Shivers at Thirsk last time. He's probably good enough to beat that rival again but this is a tougher event. Lady Royale has really found her form in the past few weeks and the owner will be very keen to land this race he sponsors. Silvestre De Sousa takes the ride on the daughter of Monsieur Bond and she should be in the shake-up. Tim Easterby's horses have been in superb form all season and Cocktail Charlie looks one for the short-list. His latest efforts over an extra furlong here and at Newmarket have been first-class and this trip will prove ideal. Easterby also saddles the speedy Berberana and she's not without a chance as she beat Thirteen Shivers over the C&D in July. MARINE COMMANDO has mainly disappointed since landing the Windsor Castle last year but looked on the way back when unlucky in-running at Chester in June and is on a low enough mark to take this.
