This is virtually a re-run of last year's race when Chil The Kite carried the same weight as today and just saw off Alfred Hutchinson with Kelinni close up in third. One Word More wasn't far behind and neither was Birdman, despite being impeded. The winner is a standing dish in these races having been placed in two Royal Hunt Cups and he can confirm the form. Sir Michael Stoute has his horses in fine shape and the three-year-old MUSTASHRY, who beat the in-form Pirouette at Ascot last month when conceding 15lb, looks a potential Pattern-race performer and though facing a stiff task is given the nod to continue his progress. Red Napoleon has only had three starts and won two of them and he looks nicely treated while Spark Plug has been racing at Listed level and has landed a handicap in this class.
