Nights Cross has very strong claims in this tough finale and can beat Enchantment and Green Manalishi. Mick Channon's colt makes a quick reappearance after running a blinder behind Alderney Race at Newmarket last week. There were some top handicap sprinters behind that day so the form does appear to be of a a very high standard. He will have to be at his best today giving weight away all round, but we think he could be up to the task. A recent winner at Redcar, Enchantment has since lost nothing in defeat in two hot handicaps and looks set for at least a place once again. Meanwhile Green Manalishi also merits respect following some promising performances in recent weeks. In a very open event Bygone Days also deserves a mention, but for the winner we return to Night Cross.
