Verdict

SO MI DAR easily won the Musidora here a year ago but missed her big summer targets due to injury. She reappeared to win impressively in a Yarmouth Listed event in the autumn before beaten a neck into third in the Prix de L'Opera at Chantilly. She should kick on this season starting here before taking up Group 1 options. John Gosden also runs the progressive The Black Princess, who reappeared to land a Group 3 at Chantilly, while the Stoute camp also have a pair of entries. Smart Call has arrived from South Africa where she won three Grade 1's and beat the high-class Legal Eagle in the J&B Met at Kenilworth on her latest start though that was in January of last year. Queen's Trust had been placed at the highest level three times including in the Yorkshire Oaks before winning the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf and she's the type to go on improving this year. Chain Of Daisies gained the sixth victory of her career in a Group 3 at Windsor in August but like Blond Me has a bit to find against the principals.
