Verdict

Ghathanfar went close in this last year before landing a double but it could pay to stick with ROYAL PARADE. The latter bounced back to his best with a four-length romp on fast ground at Goodwood and a 5lb penalty may not be enough to anchor him in this. Abate bids for a hat-trick raised 6lb and upped in class but The Green Man can effectively race off a lower mark than when successful at Doncaster if an apprentice’s allowance is taken into account. Soldier's Minute drops down in class and is preferred to 5f winner Good Earth while the Godolphin grey Great News missed the whole of last year and has yet to win a handicap.
