    Verdict

John Chard VC finished behind the race-fit Sudden Ambush at Goodwood but will strip fitter here and is 5lb better off. The Parent was staying on over a mile at Doncaster having met interference and should be in the firing-line but CONNEMARA COAST has met trouble in-running in his last two starts and makes more appeal with Ryan Moore doing the steering. Intricacy has started favourite in his last three starts but is on the verge of becoming disappointing.
