Verdict

Oisin Murphy rides the Roaring Lion newcomer Middle Earth for his retainer while Frankie Dettori is on board stablemate A Dublin Lad, third at Newmarket in October. Westerton is the most exposed but has found only one too good in his last three outings. THE GOAT was runner-up at Newcastle last year to a colt who went on to finish second in a Group 3. That looks the best form on offer and he can make a winning reappearance ahead of April’s Kempton third Cracksking and Kathab, who looked very one-paced when favourite at York having finished second in the Wood Ditton on debut.
