Mission Impossible is bound to be popular having found just one too good on his debut from admittedly a decent draw at Beverley first time out but Pat Haslam's colt may not represent much in the way of value here and a chance is taken on newcomer Feared In Flight, with Hawaass rated the pick of the remainder. The selection is bred to be useful being a Hawk Wing half-brother to Lunar Crystal and represents the Barry Hills stable that is more than capable of producing one to win first time out. Nawaaff is bred for speed and may find six furlongs testing his stamina at this early stage of his career, while Captain Dunne makes only limited appeal on pedigree and may be best watched. Captain Gerrard would probably want a faster surface and of more interest may be Howard Johnson's Montaquila who is well related and comes from a yard that can ready one first time out. Hawaass is bred to do better over further and has to be respected given the form of Mark Johnston's runners but the yard's two-year-olds normally need their first start so he may be worth watching. Feared In Flight has a decent pedigree and it may be worth taking a chance on his ability on his debut.
