Ryan Moore abandons James Street in favour of Breath Of Air, though the latter has a wide draw to contend with. Space Blues could also have had more luck with the draw and drops down in distance for his handicap debut while Magical Wish is upped in class off a higher mark after winning at Lingfield last month. Richard Fahey has a good record in this and Zip made a winning return at Newcastle back in January while The Night Watch represents last year’s winning yard and it would be no surprise to see him thereabouts with an apprentice’s allowance in his favour. KARNAVAAL appeared to find the mile trip beyond him at Newmarket on his reappearance but Sir Michael Stoute’s colt won over today’s trip last year and should be capable of taking up a good position from a decent draw so he gets a speculative vote in a wide-open contest.
