Something of a lottery to end with but SOCIETY RED beat Alwahsh when winning at Beverley last month and an apprentice’s allowance negates a 3lb rise. Dance King and Awake My Soul have also been raised 3lb for their respective wins at Pontefract and Haydock and the former finished in front of previous course and distance winner Carnageo while Bedouin was narrowly beaten at Newbury recently and Royal Regent was placed yet again at Ayr last time. Grand Inquisitor wasn’t beaten far at Nottingham when ahead of Magic City and Kharbetation has slips further down the weights.
