Verdict

CAPTAIN SIMON had subsequent winner Lubatic behind when making a winning start under Rules in a Taunton bumper in April. He'd already won between the flags so should be a useful recruit to hurdling. Dynamite Dollars had decent form in bumpers and should come into his own now tackling hurdles. Notre Ami and Jaunty Flyer won bumpers last season while Vango De Vaige's stable won with a hurdling debutant at Exeter earlier this week. JP McManus paid £140,000 for Fleminport after he finished second in an Irish point in April but he will probably need further.
