Verdict

Nell Gwynn winner, Mammas Girl, is back sprinting after being beaten 16 lengths and 23 lengths in the 1000 Guineas and Coronation Stakes respectively. That makes her hard to assess and we'll let her run on this occasion. Swingalong now looks a sprinter pure and simple after a fine Commonwealth Cup third at the Royal meeting and has every chance of nailing a third career success on that evidence. She's essential shortlist material but PINK CRYSTAL will be available at each-way odds and rates a viable alternative. She finished third here latest behind Radio Goo Goo but that was after a 251-day break and she'll strip fitter now. This is her trip and she'll hopefully come home strongly. Royal Aclaim is noted on a first start over six furlongs and Juliet Sierra will appreciate moving to this trip.
