Verdict

It took the well-related Conclude a couple of outings last season before he realised just what was required of him. However, once the penny dropped he got his act together well. There are no doubts about him with regard to the trip here and if he is fully wound up for his reappearance, he will be the one to beat. Donna's Double goes well on a galloping track and the small field should aid his case if Kevin Darley can keep him up with the pace. He does not do too much when he hits the front so a late effort from him is expected. Chief Monarch hails from an in-form yard and is respected on the pick of his form. But he has not stood much racing over the last couple of seasons and this may come a little to quickly for him after a good effort at Redcar last week. Exclusion Zone made an effortless transition to turf racing at Carlisle last month and has to rate as a big danger on his first outing for his new yard. He is likely to be taken on for the lead by Hormuz this time but with that rival having a little to prove at the trip, he may well give Conclude the most to do.
