Turnpole (IRE) Admirable campaigner, who proved he still has a turn of foot when scoring at Pontefract last time. He is feasibly well still well treated on the best of his form but the facts that he has to shoulder topweight and he has not won a flat race under a trip of two miles for four years is a little off putting.
Prairie Falcon (IRE) Course and distance winner earlier in the season, who bounced back to form last time at Ayr. However, he is not the most consistent of performers and he would have to equal a career best to win off this mark.
Loop The Loup Capable on his day but looks to be in need of a minimum two miles these days.
Son of A Gun Best effort last year came when chasing home Follow Lamtarra at Haydock in June, raced only once since and is best watched here after such a long lay-off.
You're Special (USA) Lightly campaigned this term and was not disgraced when just run out of it things by Guard Duty in the Queen's Prize at Kempton. The drop back in trip should not be a problem but he has a little to prove after an uninspiring effort at Ayr last month.
Xellance (IRE) Made steady improvement through last season and races off the same mark as he did when winning over two miles at Warwick last August. He hails from a yard that is adept at getting one ready and he should not be lightly dismissed if there are any positive signs from the betting exchanges.
Conquestadora Unbeaten since stepping into Handicap company but it remains to be seen how she copes with some of these seasoned campaigners. However, she is clearly in good heart and there may be more still to come from her.
Spy Knoll Hard to make a case for after almost two years away from competitive racing.
Distant Sky (USA) The step up in trip may bring some improvement but he looks to have a little to find in this company.
Perpetuo Very game filly who is holding her form well and she should get the strong pace she needs here. Handled the course well enough early last month and has decent claims for a place.
Golden Chance (IRE) Modest form since landing a Lady riders Handicap at Ripon in June and a little to prove over this trip.
Second Paige (IRE) Running well at present but it remains to be seen how much longer the blinkers ill enhance his performance.
Bow Strada Recent outings have not really got there pulses racing and is best watched.
Follow Lammtarra (IRE) Capable at this sort of distance but he looks to have a little to prove with a few of these.
High Barn Well beaten by Conquestadora on her Handicap debut and may be best left alone until more promising signs are sent out.
Rousing Thunder Fairly treated on the best of his form but stamina doubts make him opposable.
Karowna No doubts about her stamina but she is still a maiden on the flat and it is hard to see that changing here.
Sharp Spice In fair form at present without setting the world alight but her wins to runs ratio is off putting; others preferred.
Atacat (IRE) Out of form and best left alone here.
Mr Fortywinks (IRE) Likes to make the running but seems to have lost his way since making a winning reappearance at Ripon in April.
Citrus Magic There will be easier opportunities than this for him to lose his maiden tag.
Johnson's Point Stamina doubts make opposable in this company.
