Admirality was just touched off by Ugo Gregory over track and trip in October and races off the same mark, despite winning at Wetherby last month. Only half-a-length separated Il Bandito and MOSSBAWN at Redcar and the latter is a pound better off. The Barron yard usually have one laid out for this meeting so their five-year-old gets the nod even though he could have been better drawn. Despite top weight, course and distance winner Challet isn’t out of this while Danielsflyer finished second in the race last year. Sir Maxi looked to be coming to hand at Musselburgh with the maiden Fleetwood Pier also worth a second look along with Russco, who won five times last year.
