Verdict

Rotheram is likely to be supported by the Yorkshire folk but he impressed the paddock judges as a type that would need more time in order to demonstrate his full potential and his given a miss today. In a race full of blue blood , a slight preference is given to Cheeky Lad, who represents the in-form Barry Hills yard. In a race worth for watching rather than punting on, the Johnston and Jarvis newcomers are also worth close attention.
