Maven is the only course and distance winner in the line-up and has improved with every run this season, making all under Rachel Richardson at Beverley last month. Final Countdown has also been in top form though a 6lb rise for completing a double at Haydock just anchored him behind today's rival Kinema at Newcastle and he's up another 2lb. The winner didn't take to Chester last time though he's another on his highest mark. This trip and fast going are just right for CACTUS VALLEY and he showed with his latest run on going too soft at Ripon that his turn is due and this could be his day. Amood lost his maiden tag when stepped up to this trip for the first time at Newmarket. That was a slowly-run affair and he's up another 7lb though looks progressive enough to get into the action. Fiftyshadesfreed has only won on the all-weather but is taking a slight drop in class.
