    Verdict

Four of the last five favourites have won. SECRET AMBITION showed the benefit of his opening run when just failing to hold off the useful Birchwood on fast ground at Doncaster. He'll have come on again and will take some beating though Scottish Command will attract support. He missed the break and was impeded early in the race on his debut at Leicester and will be much sharper for the experience. Geno cost 58,000gns and is a son of Holy Roman Emperor. He looks as though he'll stay further in time but Back To Bond should be suited by the trip and looked in need of experience on his debut here last month. The speedily-bred Rosina, from a yard may prove best of the remainder.
