This is the sort of race that INCHNADAMPH may thrive in and he is fancied to carry his big weight to victory; the list of dangers is headed by Herrera, Cleaver and Bollin Felix alongside recent winner Danzatrice. The last-named is interesting as she travels so well and this race may be run to suit. A 7lb rise in the weights makes life tough however and she is taken on with Inchnadamph. Tim Fitzgerald's experienced nine-year-old was not beaten far last time out in the Chester Cup and that was a big improvement on his previous outing at Lingfield. He might be approaching optimum fitness now and he can gain his first win since giving Jamie Spencer his winning ride in November 2007 that clinched the jockey's title. Step This Way continues to go close, whilst Cleaver and Caerlaverock also win prizes for consistency. Herrera looks nicely weighted for this crack at better company but she was well-held last time and her profile is a bit hit and miss. Bollin Felix had a great 2008, winning twice and being placed on six other occasions. His recent defeat at Haydock showed that he is back on track and the visor stays on today. Hawk Mountain returns to Yorkshire after a failed trip to Newmarket last time but he looks very progressive really, whilst Four Miracles looks to have ideal conditions for a repeat of last year's win. Nemo Spirit is to be factored in to equations as well however it is Inchnadumph who can make his class tell.
